It was a bit of a drive from my home, so I was trusting that what I was told over the phone was accurate. I dropped my vehicle, they diagnosed it as what I already knew, they ordered the parts (without charging me a down payment like other shops wanted to do btw), they fixed it, and then gave me the bill which was exactly what they had quoted. No hidden or add on costs. No gimmicks. This place is the real deal in a world where I feel like everyone takes advantage of everyone to make a few bucks. And my SUV now runs like new. Although I hope to never need them again, but I would bring my vehicle back to them in a heartbeat, and it was well worth the long drive for me to get there and interact with this team of honest professionals. The shop is unassuming and doesn’t sparkle like the big city shops with the manicured sidewalks and flower beds, but I’ve found time and time again that the very best places with people with integrity are the ones that aren’t trying to put on a show. The team at Transmission Specialists did a fantastic job getting my Bee's transmission remanufactured like new. This also included replacing the drive train and the transfer case too! That means that my beloved 2002 BMW X5 is still going strong at 24 years old!! I appreciate their attention to detail and service. Now my baby runs as good as new with over 225k miles on the engine. With this remanufactured transmission I hope to get another 200k.
